Alert...Alert...Romney-Ryan Tour Bus in Williamsburg Sunday

Commit to Mitt Early Vote Express

Tour Bus Visits Williamsburg

 Friends,

Join me Sunday at 3:00 pm as the Romney-Ryan 'Commit to Mitt'  tour bus will be at the at the James City County Republican Committee Headquarters in the Williamsburg Crossing Shopping Center (corner of Rt. 199 and John Tyler Hwy).  Let's have a huge crowd there to welcome the bus and its crew.

The 93rd District and all of James City County, Williamsburg, Newport News and York County is a key battleground region for the Presidential Race.

This is the birthplace of our nation; and this is a media event.

So, let's show the nation that

"We Support MITT ROMNEY & PAUL RYAN".

Bring your flags and Romney-Ryan signs!

Following is the Press Release sent out by the Romney Campaign tonight:

............MEDIA ADVISORY..........

For Immediate Release: October 13, 2012

Delegate Mike Watson & the Commit to Mitt Early Vote Express Visits Williamsburg

Press Release from Romney Campaign from ARLINGTON, VA – On Sunday Oct. 14, Delegate Mike Watson (93rd District) and the Romney-Ryan Commit to Mitt Early Vote Express Tour Bus will stop in Williamsburg to encourage Virginians to vote early for the GOP ticket.  Delegate Watson and Republican supporters will make phone calls from the bus reminding people to register to vote, vote early or return their absentee ballots.  Virginians know that this election is a choice between two very different vision’s for our nation’s future.  Under President Obama, we will have four more years of the last four years, with a stagnant economy that fosters government dependency and a foreign policy that makes the world less safe. When Mitt Romney is president, our nation will have pro-growth policies that foster upward mobility – and lift people out of poverty – and we will ensure peace through American leadership and strength.

The Early Vote Express tour kicked off October 9 and has since made stops in Colonial Beach, Montross, Tappahannock, Kilmarnock, West Point, Gloucester, Bristow, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Roanoke, and Blacksburg. The following events are open to the press:

Sunday October 14, 2012

Who: Del. Mike Watson and Romney-Ryan Supporters & Volunteers

What: Commit to Mitt Early Vote Mobile Phone Bank

Where: James City GOP HQ

I sent a request for everyone to help us with this petition drive, please follow the links and help us let our elected officials know how we feel about the abuse of eminent domain. If any other petitions show up, either uncheck them or ignore them. I have not had this issue before, and next time I will look for a different site.

REMEMBER we have a Board meeting in James City County next week and York County the next week, so sign, the sooner the better!

There is a Virginia  Constitutional Amendment on the ballot on Nov. 6th that will affect the property rights of citizens all over the Commonwealth. A vote of "YES" will protect citizens from land grabs and "close the loopholes in Virginia law that are the result of the Kelo decision".

Citizens want a resolution from the Board of Supervisors. Will they go on record supporting the constitutional rights of citizens and the end to governmental land grab and abuse?

We have placed two on line petitions, one for York County and one for James City County which will be presented to the Board. Please support our efforts.

We the under signed citizens request the Board of Supervisors adopt a resolution supporting the  amendment to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia, which will appear on the ballet  on Nov. 6th following suite with numerous counties across the state in support of the eminent domain amendment.

Read the proposed county resolution below:

Resolution in Support of the Commonwealth of Virginia Constitutional Amendment on Eminent Domain;
Whereas, this country was founded on the principal of private property rights and this has become an important aspect of the American dream; and
Whereas, the Supreme Court of the United States has indicated that the use of eminent domain laws are a States' rights issue; and
Whereas, the government taking of privately owned property should be limited to the need for public use projects only; and
Whereas, citizens should be adequately compensated when their property is taken for government use including loss of use and/or income; and

Whereas, the constitutional amendment will be on the November 6, 2012 ballot for approval by a majority of voters in Virginia
Now, Therefore Be It Resolved That, the James City County Board of Supervisors does hereby support this constitutional amendment restricting the use of eminent domain in the Commonwealth and encourages its citizens to vote yes on the ballot in November.
I,_______________, do hereby certify that the foregoing writing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution duly adopted by the James City County Board of Supervisors by a vote of ______ to ______, as recorded below, at a meeting held on _________________________.

PTP Wire | a look into a Progressive's, Collective Vision

September
2012-00

MASDAR...a Progressive's,
Collective Vision
(Please watch Milton Friedman's Video)

Federal Government Invests in MASDAR
Economic, Environmental and Social Progress

In 2008, Barrack Obama proclaimed the fundamental change of America. In 2012, his campaign slogan is "Forward". What does that mean? Where is Americain 2030?

As Americans fight over the rich paying their fair share, reducing social programs like Social Security and Medicare and reducing our military, our federal tax money is being spent in Abu Dhabi.

With the push for Smart Growth, Sustainable Development, Comprehensive Planning and now the funding of MASDAR (an Abu Dhabi program), they have given us a glimpse of their vision.

Hilary Clinton provided this glimpse during a speech in the Middle East.

This is a partnership between the governments of "United States and Abu Dhabi around renewable energy, and climate change and sustainable development that takes advantage of Human Capital." (0:13)

Hillary Clinton continues to claim that "The old strategies for growth and propersity will no longer work." (0:33)

"We have high hopes that it will provide the link between developed and developing countries in sustainable energy production." (1:56)

"MASDAR and the U.S. Department of Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding last year, to promote joint research development of clean energy technologies." (2:12)

What is MASDAR?
The World's First Sustainable City!

On February 8, 2008, the Government of Abu Dhabi launched an ambitious plan to create the World's Sustainable City...MASDAR City.

MASDAR will be Zero Waste, Zero Carbon and a Fossil Fuel Free city. (1:00). They will eliminate the fossil fuel automobile..and have pedestrian only streets (1:07)

The goal is to have the highest quality of life with the lowest environmental impact.

For a city of the future, "Master Planners" have gone back in time.

Transport (2:16)

The transportation system includes a subway, light rail and high speed rail.

Everyone will be within 250 meters from public transport. (2:45)

SMART Technology (2:47)

City design aims to reduce electricity and water demand as much as possible.

"Smart" buildings and appliances will monitor consumption.

World Wildlife Fund and BioRegional have developed
It's academic and researchers will search for solutions to mankind's most pressing problems including...security, climate change and sustainable human development. (5:43)

SMART Technology
Verizon's Home Monitoring & Control

As previously mentioned, "Smart" buildings and appliances will monitor consumption to ensure that cities meet zero carbon emissions.

While corporation like Verizon is ushering in mechanisms to remotely monitor and control appliances, cameras and thermostats within your home. But what happens when restrictions are placed on our uses of electricity, water and other resources?

Conclusion
...a Glimpse into the Future

If we continue this path, MASDAR provides an insight into our future and what it will resemble, but everyone knows that enough utopias to fit 7 billion people cannot be built.

This societial utopia is totally depended on the collective. Where all actions are monitored by technology in the name of the environment.

Our education system reinforces this collective thought, as the betterment for humanity is the reason. This is a system in which someone cannot escape.

The essence of innovation is thinking outside the box but Milton Friedman puts it the best.
